Our Vision for Ministry

To see the nation of Canada transformed by the presence of Christ in the life of people, by making disciples of Jesus Christ and serving leaders across our nation.

Outreach Canada helps to accelerate the fulfilling of the Great Commission in Canada through many collaborative partnerships.  Our ministry was launched in 1984 with a pastor’s conference in Vancouver and today we host a variety of training events in every province, in as many as six languages.  In 2018 we served over 2000 ministry leaders and were involved in the discipleship of 2680 individuals.

Our early focus was on demographic research, church planting and mobilization.  After three decades of serving the Canadian church, we remain committed to our core-vision of discipling our nation.  As you peruse our website you will see a variety of unique ministries that make up Outreach Canada.  Each ministry has a specific focus but all of them are united in our desire to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

In recent years we have been drawn to partner in ways that focus on intercultural ministry; we have people who work with francophone, indigenous, immigrant and all sorts of diaspora churches and ministries.  We have team members who work in traditional church settings as well as missionaries and chaplains who work primarily outside of the church.

In everything we do we follow a simple, three step strategy:

Strategy

  • Recognize Critical needs and opportunities.
  • Respond with innovation and relevance.
  • Rally the body of Christ toward cooperative solutions.

Thank you for visiting our website, I hope you find what you are looking for.  We would love the opportunity to serve you.
